Hitler Rise to Power
All the conditions that we have read previously gave a background to the Rise of Hitler.
Hitler was born in 1889 in Austria
During WW 1, he acted as a messenger in army and earned many medals for bravery.
Defeat of German horrified him
In 1919, He joined German Workers party.
Later, he took than organisation and named it National Socialist German Party which came to be known as Nazi party.
In 1923, he planned to seize Bavaria but he failed and was arrested.
They were unable to mobilise attention till the 1930s.
They became popular after the Great depression.
First, they got 2.6% vote, later in 1932 got 37 % vote.
He became popular due to his way of propaganda
List of his promises-:
Promised to undo the injustices and restore dignity.
Promised to make Germany strong nation
Promised to give employment, secure youth future
And many more promises
Other things that attracted people are
The unique way of Nazi's propaganda
The Red banners with the swastika
The Nazi salute,
Ritualised rounds of applause.
In this propaganda Hitler was projected as saviour, messiah .

The Destruction of Democracy
30Jan 1933 - President Hindenburg gave chancellorship to hitler.
Mysterious Fire in Parliament in February.
In 28 Feb 1933 - Fire decree, civic rights suspended
Nazi's arch enemies like communists were sent to concentration camps.
3 March 1933 - Enabling act-:
Dictatorship established.
Parliament sideline and rule by decree.
Political parties were banned.
Control over everything

After Enabling Act-:
New forces or police created.
The Newly organized forces gave Nazi state its reputation as the most dreadful criminal state.
People were suppressed by these police.
People were arrested without any legal procedure.

Reconstruction
This duty was given to Hjalmar Schacht.
It was done through a state-funded work-creation programme.
Result of project-:
German superhighways
People's car Volkswagen
After that Hitler pulled out the league of nations.
He reoccupied Rhineland
Integrated Austria and Germany under the slogan one people, one empire, one leader.
He then went to rest German speaking subtend land.
Schacht opposed him to not to waste money on war because of economic conditions.
But, Hitler saw war as a way of reconstruction
So, Schacht had leave
Then, he invaded poland

World War 2
Then War started to with France and England
After that a Tripartite Pact was signed between Germany, Italy and Japan.
On the other side, Germany now thought to also invade USSR
This was a big mistake of Germany.
USSR use a different way to fight with Germany
When German soldiers entered they started going backward destroying everything so that German soldiers could not survive.
And when German's resources got empty then they attacked the Germans.
Gave them humiliating defeat.
The USA has resisted this war.
Because the USA thought that War causes losses.
But as Japan was expanding its territories
At last Japan attacked US naval bases and bombed it.
Due to which US entered
And then the war ended with the dropping of the atom bomb on Hiroshima.

After World War -:
When Germany lost, Hitler along with his propaganda minister Gobbels committed suicide.
An International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg was set.
It was set to prosecute nazi war criminals for :
Crime against peace
War Crime
Crime Against Humanity.
This is the second part of Nazism and the rise of Hitler. Now mainly chapters main part has ended. Now I will discuss the left of the chapter in the next part.
